We appreciate being able to provide our services to our community!

We ask the following of each of our valued patients: 1. Cancel your appointment if you are showing signs of illness - sore throat, cough, flu like symptoms. 2. Please note that the front door will be locked if our receptionist is not in attendance. Text your practitioner when you park/arrive (practitioner phone numbers included below). Your practitioner will text you when they’re ready for you and they will meet you at the front door. Please do not enter the building without your practitioner. 3. During days of inclement weather we would appreciate patients removing their footwear at the front entryway.

Natasha has a Masters in Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC), has Level 2 certification in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, is a Relational Somatic Trauma Therapist, and is trained as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher. Natasha is a Mentor for the BC Adaptive Mentorship Network: mentoring health professionals across all disciplines in the areas of chronic pain, mental health and substance use, and sits on the Hub Team for Pain BC’s ECHO for Chronic Pain. She is also an academic marker for the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London, England.

Having initially trained and worked in the UK, Natasha has worked as a psychotherapist in private practice in Nelson since 2005. She works with adults (and younger folk for chronic pain only), in both individual and couples therapy. Her practice includes working with anxiety and depression, chronic pain and illness, relational and event-based trauma including PTSD, bereavement, parenting and relationship issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, spiritual crises, or working with those who are simply seeking greater self-awareness, increased ease, healthier choices and healthier relationships in their lives.

Natasha has a special interest in exploring the connection between physical symptoms/disease and unresolved emotional/psychological challenges. As a survivor of thyroid cancer, she brings a deep and personal understanding of the multi-layered experience of living with chronic illness and dis-ease in the body/mind, including the associated grief and anxiety.

Natasha has for many years designed and facilitated groups and workshops under the umbrella of Inner Vision Workshops and is a certified facilitator of Awakening of Love retreats (part of the international transformational Path Retreats process).

Natasha uses an integrative approach to practice. She has found that trauma-informed Somatic (body-centered) Therapy is a fundamental component in the process of healing on all levels. In addition, she uses attachment-based talk therapy, guided visualizations, chair work, mindfulness practices, working with dreams, and the building of your toolbox for resourcing and resilience.

Whatever your life circumstances, Natasha brings compassionate presence and insightful inquiry to support you in your healing journey.
